The following services are provided to our clients currently to define and assist with understanding and mitigating environmental risks:
Hygienix will team with you to navigate your project though initial planning to environmental sampling and site conceptualization through remediation. Our team has worked with the EPA and Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
Phase I’s are conducted during property transactions and/or to define risks at sites for environmental due diligence to obtain innocent landowner protection as required by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA).
Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA)
Phase II ESA’s
Phase II’s are conducted on sites to define the nature and extent of contamination and include hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, metals, vapor intrusion, or other identified environmental risks by a Phase I. Hygienix and its team can conduct all necessary investigation to document these risks.
In accordance with the National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) as well as the DEQ, an asbestos inspection must be performed prior to any renovation or demolition activities at the site. Hygienix can perform these assessments as well as define and design project parameters to abate asbestos allowing your project to move forward successfully in accordance with environmental law. Hygienix can perform clearance sampling and oversight to ensure your risks are mitigated.
Additional Hazardous Materials
Lead, PCBs, Mercury, Biological Contaminants, Mold are all commonly part of buildings and pose environmental and occupational risks.
Hygienix’s CIH has completed a multitude of various studies and analysis of buildings, constructability, and design analysis to document and understand how and why failures are occurring utilizing property specifications and chemical analysis. By looking into the makeup of constructability and environmental conditions, Hygienix can provide analysis and determine a corrective action plan to correct building deficiencies.
